Peter jabbed his finger at the script and then pointed first at Viggo, then Sean. "And I want you to kiss him!"
"Kiss him?" Viggo asked, although none assembled could tell whether the question was for clarification's sake, in horror, or something else.
Peter nodded rapidly. "A Kingly kiss for a fallen brother."
"Ah," Viggo said in the same tone as before. He turned to Sean whose head was bent over the script, his lips moving silently. "Well, Bean?"
Sean's head snapped up and he blinked at Viggo as though he hadn't expected him to be there. He cleared his throat. "Ah, yes?"
Viggo stared at him with a small smile. "I am going to kiss you."
Sean swallowed hard as a light blush tinted his cheeks. His eyes darted to the script where he rapidly paged through it, looking for the scene. "Ummm."
"Take note," Peter said as his cellphone rang. "Right after you die, Bean." He answered the phone with an annoyed grunt. "What do you mean the door in scene 8 won't work?" The two men heard as he slipped out the door.
Sean cleared his throat again. "Um. Well. I suppose..."
Viggo folded his hands together and waited.
Sean looked off to the door and scratched his head. "I suppose, well, I rather suspect..."
Viggo leaned forward, his eyes never straying from Sean's face.
Sean glanced quickly at Viggo and then away again. He took a deep breath and forced himself to look at Viggo. "Well, there would be no need to."
Viggo raised his eyebrows. "No need to what?"
Sean shifted slightly in his seat and played with the edge of the script. "I would already be dead, is what."
Viggo smiled and sat back in his chair. "So you would."
Silence fell on the room. Viggo continued to stare at Sean and Sean continued to avoid his eyes by paging through the script. The clock ticked along, faint sounds of pounding hammers filtered into the room until Viggo could stand it no longer. "I think it's necessary."
Sean's head snapped up again. He opened his mouth slightly to protest but found his mouth was so dry he couldn't get the words out. He swallowed and then licked his lips, but before he could attempt to speak again, Viggo was leaning across the table and seizing his lips in a hard kiss. Sean's eyes slipped closed as he let himself kiss Viggo back, his hands daring to rest on Viggo's chest.
It seemed to go on forever but then Viggo pulled back and so it seemed to Sean then that it had been all too short. When Viggo moved away and began gathering his things, Sean blushed and felt the need to say something but couldn't think of anything but the feeling of Viggo's lips on his.
Viggo smiled at him again. "I don't suppose that's what Peter meant."
"I'd say not," Sean mumbled, hurriedly packing his own things.
"Ah, but we are lat for our fencing course," Viggo remarked.
Sean glanced at the clock and nodded. He nearly jumped out of his skin when Viggo touched his arm. "Perhaps we can try that scene again later?"
Sean found himself smiling widely at Viggo. "Perhaps."
